Course material fees : Rs. 2247.20 (Rs. 2000 Fee + Rs. 247.20 Tax *)This training course is designed for service staff involved in operation, maintenance and repair of Cummins K series new generation engine models KTA - 50 - G3, KTA - 19 - G4, KTA -38-G5, KTA - 50 - G8 series engines powering generating sets. At the conclusion of this course, the student would be familiar with the engine systems, operation, step timing control injectors, maintenance, trouble shooting, proper installation; theory and operation of hydraulic and EFC governor, ECPG, alternator and load aspects of Generating set.Dates: 23-27 Feb 2008
Cummins Engine Maintenance (B,C,S,X Series) Diesel Genset Application Course Code -BCSXH
Course material fees : Rs. 2247.20 (Rs. 2000 Fee + Rs. 247.20 Tax *)The course is designed for service staff involved in operation, maintenance and repair of Cummins B, C, S and X series engines powering generating sets. At the conclusion of this course the student would be familiar with the B,C, S and X engine systems, operation, maintenance aspects.Dates: BCH - 24-27 Nov. 2008

* Includes Service Tax and Cess tax. Tax varies and applicable as per government rules. As on date (Apr 2008) of this schedule, Service Tax is 12% and Cess Tax is 0.3% (or 2% on Service Tax)(12.36% Approx)

Note :

The medium of instruction represented by the last alphabet in the course code e.g. EMG [E] EMG [H] where 'E' is English and 'H' is Hindi.
Last digit of the course represents the course number of the year e.g. EMGE-5 indicates 5th course of the year.
Attendance is mandatory for all days.
It is mandatory for all participants to come with leather shoes.
Timing - 9:00am to 4:00pm for all days.

The 2008-09 end users training schedule offers you courses designed for Cummins engines powering Gensets, Construction, Industrial and other applications. A total of 27 courses have been scheduled from April 2008 to March 2009.Our professional instructors, proficient in English and Hindi, conduct the courses in a friendly but formal atmosphere.

The ultra modern education materials used during the training courses allow each participant to gain maximum knowledge. We are confident that our patrons will find learning' a pleasure '.

The sponsors may select a suitable course for their candidates from the course schedule given in this brochure.

Eligibility

The candidates should be sponsored by actual users of Cummins engines.

Course Material Fees

A nominal fees will be charged per candidate to cover training course material as mentioned under the topic of Course Descriptions in this publication. It is essential to send course material fees along with the enrollment form. A Demand Draft towards course material, per candidate per course, should be drawn on a nationalized bank in favor of Cummins Sales and Service (India) Limited and payable at Pune.

Training Literature

The required training literature will be provided to each candidate. If additional literature is required, it will be made available to the candidate at an extra cost.

Enrolment Procedure
Fill in the enrollment form,
Forward the enrollment request along with D.D. & covering letter to Cummins Sales and Service (India) Limited, Pune 411038, so as to reach us at least four (4) weeks in advance from the date of commencement of the selected course. The application duly filled should be forwarded along with a covering letter necessarily on the sponsoring company's letter head, (In case of more applicants, use photocopies of the attached form.)
Upon receipt, the enrollment form will be processed at Pune, and allocation will be made for specific or alternate training programmers on first come first serve basis.
Candidates are to be deputed only after receipt of confirmation from Cummins Training Department.
In case the student does not avail the course allotted to him, an alternate course at a later date will be offered and no other refund will be made.
In the event that the course is cancelled for the training programmer applied for, the Demand Draft will be returned.
The course may be cancelled if the enrollment is less than 8 and the candidates will be duly informed. Such candidates will be enrolled in a subsequent (same) course with prior intimation.
Leather/Safety Shoe are mandatory to all participants for factory Visit.

This ensure that participants thoroughly understand Cummins Engine operations and Maintenance and Rebuild process. Equipped with state of the Art facilities and spread over 2000 Square feet area , the training school aim to provide Customers with most updated and practical knowledge to operate the engine most efficiently . All participants are provided with free basic engine system literature. Training school publish a training Aids and Publication catalog containing shop manuals, Troubleshooting manuals, component rebuild manuals and various other literature, these are available at our training school, on order as per your requirement.
